Catching oysters

We decided to go back to Langstone Harbour today for another walk, this time in the other direction. We were earlier today and the light was better, and the tide was out so there were loads of wading birds on the mud flats, including more oyster catchers than I've seen at one time before. I also had a close encounter with an egret and happened upon a big herd of Highland cattle (see Extras).

Fun fact: windsurfing was invented at Hayling Island (where Langstone Harbour is situated) in the 1950s.
