Play Time

I was surprised to find ducks playing in the inlet and enjoyed watching them for a while bobbing under water, presumably feeding. These are wild ducks and very timid, so it's a pleasure to see them. I liked the out of focus reeds in the shot, they lend an air of hidden observance.

Unfortunately, I didn't have my long lens and the light was not great, but still it was great practice trying to get shots of them. Wildlife photographers must possess great patience.
