Life through the lens...

By ValC

Tiny picture.

We bought this when we were on holiday in Cornwall. I just fell in love with this tiny embroidery.
Only 4cm X 5cm.
The artist, Carol Bynoth, paints on silk and then uses free- machine embroidery to create these beautiful pictures.
You can see the framed picture in extras.

A bit of an emergency Tiny Tuesday blip, as it was dark when I got back from Leeds.
Have had a lovely day with 5 other friends.
“ The Ladies who Lunch”.
This time we had lunch at The Cote Brasserie, in Trinity, Leeds.
A delicious lunch. Obviously with a French influence. £13.95 for three courses was excellent value.
I started with pissaladiere followed by chicken chasseur and a chocolate pot to finish.
The house white wine, which was French of course, was lovely.
Great staff too. Will certainly be back.
A very enjoyable day.
