Denver Sluice

Another invention of the Dutchman Cornelius Vermuijden, albeit a modern incarnation. Due to a great feat of engineering the present version not only serves to keep the Fens relatively dry but also helps top up the reservoirs of  Essex to the south. 
I will catch up with comments as soon as poss but the internet is going particularly slowly at the moment and life keeps distracting me. Now if Vermuijden had put his mind to broadband around here ....... ;-)
