River of Flowers

By doffy

Tuesday: Mahonia

There was a very colourful sunrise this morning but it soon disappeared and we had a grey, chilly and very still day.
Noticed the mahonia flowers have started opening, the little blue tit had seen them too and was eating a few!
I cut some of the straight branches from the twisted hazel bush and made circles with them for wreaths as in previous years - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2518488898703724115
I cut back a few of the Japanese anemones so that the birds can scratch around under the trees.
MrD worked this morning.
Started watching a film this afternoon, The Music of Silence, about Andrea Bocelli, lovely film but very sad in parts.
Some rain by evening.
Goodnight all x
