Wednesday: Seedlings in Greenhouse

Another grey day, still and mild, 10°C at midday.
Whilst I was waiting for the washing machine to finish its cycle I did a bit of gardening: started off more seeds in the greenhouse, Malabar spinach (basella alba) it’s an Asian climbing spinach https://www.pennardplants.com/search.php?pg=1&stext=malabar+spinach&sprice=&stype=&scat= and Nasturtium “Yeti” https://justseed.com/products/flnasyeti001 - looks pretty & flowers are edible!
Transplanted some of the calendula grown from seed given to me by my neighbours over the road. Put the Greater Knapweed from last Honey Fair in with the calendula.
Picked a handful of Kale “Red Russian” to go with salmon for dinner, scrummy ...
Removed summer plants from the second hanging basket, potting them up for next year and planted basket up with heathers.
Our neighbour from over the road called in with some magazines for MrD, the littlest left with some sweets x
There’s a shoot on a country estate near us, there’s been sound of shotguns all day, so upsetting ...
Goodnight all x
