Henry Royce

The weather here today is appalling, heavy mediterranean rain! I found an umbrella and walked up the road to photograph this plaque. Henry Royce (for non mechanically minded blippers) was the Royce in Rolls Royce.

He spent 20 years of winters here in Canadel conceiving and developing his ideas. His house is on the Avenue de La Corniche and one of Rolls Royce most beautiful cars was aptly named "Corniche"

I must say, so far, I haven't had any creative brainstorms here yet!

Being stuck indoors, I am tiling. Unfortunately Mrs Bob20 spotted the weather forecast yesterday and planned work for me.
