Batsford Arboretum

(Apologies for not catching up on your blips. We are with friends and the days run away)

Had so many fabulous photographs today. Impossible choose my blip. Considered a collage, using some as extras. In the end restraint has prevailed and I’ve selected just one.

It had to be this jewel in the Arboretum. A ’Callicarpa bodinieri var. Giraldii 'Profusion' or beautyberry. It really took my breath away. Don’t recall ever having seen a berry In this colour.

Milder, but rained most of the day. Spent the morning at the Arboretum, then had a wander round Stow on the Wold and an excellent flat white at Stow Town Coffee Roasters (good find).

Chatted to a delightful Belgian lady who lives here. She (and the café owner) gave us excellent recommendations for accommodation and places to eat.

Another world up here, busy considering it’s November, and not as ’twee’
as anticipated.

And thanks to bikerbear for hosting Flower Friday - which I usually neglect.
