A stag in the distance ..............

.............. it's just a shame it's a metal one.

We visited Pensthorpe for a guided walk around their gardens with the head gardener.  He was very interesting, and clearly very enthusiastic about his subject.  We had got there a little early, and this was taken earlier in the day, before lunch.

It was a grey day, and getting dark by the time the walk was over, but at least it didn't rain.
