Lining Things Up

A lackadaisical, indecisive hound made for a long time to walk a short distance this morning.
Not so enjoyable when it is damp and dreich and your back is screaming at you and the light levels seemed to be at least an hour behind yesterday.

So no pictures were taken until the lunchtime walk and all the negatives seemed to have sorted themselves out.
The main blip is a very small bit of the split in a tall tree that was cut down due to disease (probably because there was a huge split in it). The split is now full of water and leaves and I like the contrasts and textures.
My other shot nearly lines up with one from the 6th and shows how the leaves are falling quickly.

It was a bit of a roller coaster with Squirrel this afternoon and she suffered the consequences …… a right rollocking, some time sitting on the stairs and missing out on a trip out for a hot chocolate - just a shame that The Cygnet had to miss out on the hot chocolate because he was being very nice. There will be further consequences tonight I fear when her father finds out about the incident with the nail polish remover and the table at home this morning.

I am glad tomorrow is the weekend.
