IN THE PARK IN VOORBURG

I saw these two gnomes climbing to their home in the tree.
We were invited by friends to their new home in Voorburg and we had left early to catch the lightrail and walk from station Voorburg t Loo to their apartment. A wonderful new home, and it was nice to catch up after a year. Piet Hein and Ko had become friends at the gymnasium, that is 64 years ago. How special is that! After a delicious lunch, we went for a walk.
Voorburg is a nice green place and we walked through several parks, all old and beautifully landscaped. 
We walked till we reached the Vliet, a canal, and walked a different route back. Through the Herenstraat, where the little shops are and drank tea in a cafe/restaurant.
It was already dark when we walked through the parks back and Piet Hein and I took again the lightrail for our trip home.
