The commercialisation of Christmas

"Over a month away and not advent yet, its way too soon for this sort of thing", said the Grinch (particularly appropriate with that green(!)).


It has been a very difficult day, connected with future arrangements for Dad's long term care.  Fortunately both my siblings and Cathy have been towers of strength. Now at the close of the day I have taken the liberty of allowing myself a glass of some of Scotland's finest.  I think I shall go and find a little bread and cheese and settle down with some music on the hi fi - or possibly something on Netflix.
