Subdued

Ice still a feature on the lake after freezing overnight lows, although this afternoon was tolerably mild temperatures. Grey and cloudy skies rendered a soft and subtle light to the scene and in the distant trees even some mistiness.

With vegetation diminishing I found a new perspective taking in the length of the lake, which seems less so in this shot due to compression from the lens.

I'm rediscovering how hard I find making snow white enough yet with detail.
