Autumn leaves

Autumn colour isn't a thing on the Costa Tropical, so it's nice to catch a bit of it here. Hectic day (again). Bits of shopping, then I called in to see G and V. It was good to catch up with them, as they have not had it easy since we've been away. Their beloved cat Max disappeared and was never seen again, and then V severely lacerated his leg in a chainsaw accident, sawing through an artery. Luckily a neighbour was passing ...

And the rest of the day ... choir practice with our new director. It's certainly a different experience .. she has a completely different style from William, as well as being 20 years younger. Interesting! And we made good progress today. I took some photos for Facebook purposes but was not that happy with them, hence I didn't blip one. I'll have another go tomorrow.

Afterwards T and I met up with T's partner S in Lézignan to see Ken Loach's latest film, Sorry We Missed You. It was not exactly a barrel of laughs. Unfortunately like most of his films it's very close to real life, even if this particular family had more catastrophes than most. Great acting, especially from Debbie Honeywood as the mum desperately trying to hold her family together and being undermined at every turn. Home, 11 p.m. and an early start tomorrow!
