Vintage car send off.

It was my Dads funeral. The services went well, both at the Crematorium and the Baptist Church where my Dad had been part of the church family. It was lovely to meet and talk to people who knew him from different spheres if life. Pride of place went to members of the Austin Owners club who parked their vintage cars outside the church in a sort of guard of honour for Dad. We will miss him but he has gone to a better place. If there is a mechanics workshop in heaven that is where my Dad will be hanging out .
Grateful today for many kind words, for the chance to catch up with cousins I have not seen for 50 years and for the chance to say goodbye to Dad.
