Forth

The plan for today had been to meet with several blippers past and present to show them round the Dean Gardens - but D got an unmissable invite to a trip out on the Forth with Bill on the Conserver, to visit the seal pups on Inchkeith.

We were joined by several previous Inchcolm custodians and some of D's current colleagues, and were taken out to Inchkeith where we spent an hour or two exploring. It's big! Checked out the lighthouse and the seals (see extras) and fed Bill's chickens. What a treat!

Visited Inchcolm briefly, mostly for the old custodians to see the improvements to the cottage (chiefly, wood-burning stove and no rats!). Only a few seal pups in the South Bay. Made our way back to Granton and thence home.
