Breakfast

Called in at the OK American Diner on the A1, north of Newark.
I've seen this (and others) before and always wondered what they were like. Today I found out.
Bright and colourful, with a distinctive 'American' feel about it.  The interior was much the same (see extra) - bright and cheerful - and spotlessly clean.
I decided on a 'Yankee Doodle Dandy' which was two eggs 'sunny-side up', crispy streaky bacon and hash browns served with pancakes and pancake syrup on the side.
Brilliant!  I loved it - and the music was 1960s American Pop (with some Country Music).
A thoroughly enjoyable treat - I shall definitely call next time I'm on the A1.
