A Powdered Sugar Snow

We awoke to find the ground covered in white. While we have had a few flurries here and there, this was our first measurable snowfall. Tiny Tiger took his sled out to test the conditions, but it turns out that sledding wasn't so great, actually, on the hood or trunk of my car. Here is a photo of our property as viewed from the road. The snow was gone by mid-afternoon.

There was also some very upsetting news on this day. Stryker, the little gray kitty who comes to visit us, has been missing for several days, according to a posting his family made on our local neighborhood Facebook page. We had been wondering why we had not seen him lately.

If you can manage a spare beam, or a heart-felt prayer, or a warm wish, please send one out into the Universe to help the little gray kitty find his way home. Please, pretty please, let him be OK. Please send him home.
