Another damp day

Only 4 hours sleep last night so I didn’t feel at my best. I continued with working on my book till Mr C suggested we should get ourselves out for a walk before the rain came on again. The path up to the moor was sodden but I liked the contrast of the lichen on the birch tree against the bracken.

Explore has cancelled the Harar part of our Ethiopia trip as there is unrest in the region. The new itinerary means a lot of to-ing and fro-ing which is annoying but on the upside we’ll see the Danekil depression which will be very photogenic.
