This morning I asked my boss what she thought of my idea with larger metal wire 'Christmas trees'. She said go for it! She often does, she really encourages us. 
The 'Christmas trees' became just as I envisioned them! Two are embellished with a golden wire and white and silver beads, and the other two with a blue wire, white and silver beads and a thinner silver foil ribbon. I'm continuing on Thursday, before the Christmas fair. Perhaps I'll make one with white and some red beads... The fun thing was that my boss thought them so lovely that she didn't want them to be sold separately, but with arrangements. :) 
Home now, resting my foot. I'm still not sleeping well, but it's better than last week at least. :)
