Marina

We're now back with our friends in Richmond, Nelson.  Feels like home. :)

A big day, what day it has been!!
Early we went for a wee drive around the bays (again) and this was the marina in the Port Tarakohe.
Then we took ourselves out for breakfast, delicious;  I love going out for breakfast.
Following on, we did some Christmas shopping in Takaka, the town is cute, rather quirky, even trendy (in parts) small shopping centre.
Over the Takaka hill to Riwaka Resurgence, where the river comes out of the hills....not appealing, looks like a great big dark hole, but folk swim/dive in there....not for this kiwi. Still a lovely walk through bush to get there and a picturesque river with gentle falls.
Onto Motueka to meet up with blipper Miffy and her husband Robin. We had a lovely time together, chatting about many things, blipping, travelling and family....oh and photo books as well.  Thanks Miffy for organising this, we really enjoyed catching up with you both again.
We then had to move on to Nelson as I had also arranged to meet up with Tanya of TMLHereAndThere fame later in the afternoon.  We spent a very pleasant hour or so in a cafe/brewery drinking tea....yes green tea !!

Back to Joan and Trev for the "last supper" with a few wines and many laughs.  We head home tomorrow, we will be on the road early as its an eight hour drive down the island to Timaru.

What a magnificent holiday we have had.....aren’t we so very fortunate to be able to do these things, many can't.

I've tagged this for Abstract Thursday "geometric", not that I really think it is, I haven't done any ICM for a while and it took me a while to get into the hang of it again.....I think I can distinguish boats.
