Sparrows in the sea grass

Kent & Mum were up early and they took the bus to the morning ferry to go into Kirkwall for the day.

Mum had some things she wanted to get done in town and Kent went as her muscle to carry all her shopping.

While Mum & Kent were gone, Dad and I cut and stacked wood so Mum would be supplied with enough while he was off at the hospital and hopefully a few days once he’s back home.

We took the empty fish crates over to Bertie, on Gill Pier and then went to Wheeling Steen to pick up the cards they made for me.

As well as the starlings and sparrows finding plenty to eat on the driveway out front (extra), the sparrows love to eat the sea grass that has gone to seed.
