The Man's Shop

The Man's Shop, another iconic shop in St Johns, is closing. (Patty's Home Plate is another; it closed since it's in the same building owned by the clothing store, and that the owners sold.) The Man's Shop has been around for 79 years, run by the last of two sons of the original owners. Yesterday was the first of the closeout sale; Eric found two dress shirts suitable for concerts and gigs: one white and one black. Notice the mechanical till!
I'm sorry to see it close and wish someone would've taken it over, updated it to appeal to today's man - whoever that is - and kept both the name and sign out front. See extra.
