A nice surprise to wake to - came straight from the author and she was kind enough to sign it.

Got a good walk in for the first time in a while 8.5 miles.

Bit chilly out so wrapping up was required - the comforts and warmth of home was much more alluring than popping into the Brewery on the way home, so despite being late in the day I didn’t miss all of strictly . The canal was sadly a muddy mess on the way back and torches were needed.
