Christmas Tree Shopping

We set out early today to pick our Christmas tree at Tree Berry Farm in Scituate. Selecting the tree was quicker than usual, but the wait in the bitter cold to finalize the sale with the gent that measures and tags the tree with all of our information was long. The wind was biting and I was wishing for my down vest and warm mittens that were in the car. We're happy with our tree choice, it will be cut and delivered next Friday or Saturday.

We try to buy from local merchants on what is called Small Business Saturday rather than take part in the Black Friday shopping madness. We had a great day poking around in small shops in Scituate and Hingham. We ended the day with dinner at the Snug, an Irish pub we love in Hingham.

For the Record,
This day came in sunny and very cold.

All hands happy.
