Violet*

I came across this old fashioned advent calender in the Watermill in Aberfeldfy - it takes me back to my childhood and the pleasure I took in finding a revealing each day's pictures. 

This morning we walked over to see T's dad and came back via Blackford Hill. It was very clear - with not only the Lomonds visible but a hill behind them. 

This evening we will be heading out to the Usher Hall to see Rhiannon Giddens in concert with Franscisco Turrisi, which will be good. She is one my favourites acts (we've seen her 5 times) - she has the most wonderful voice and writes very powerfully.
