South Foreland Lighthouse - Dover

This Sunday's walk was along the White Cliffs of Dover from Langdon to the Monument to the Dover Patrol above St Margaret's Bay. At nearly 8 miles this was a lovely, if somewhat cold walk - at least one way - with some spectacular views owing to the cold clear atmosphere.

Weather conditions also conspired to create some interesting photo opportunities, of which this is one of many. The air was so sharp that the French coastline was very clear and the buildings of Calais were well defined.
