Smokey 1718 hr (Tuesday 3rd December 2019)

Smokey doesn't normally have access to the bathroom, but for the last couple of days I've had to leave doors open, because he discovered a comfortable small table next to the radiator there, and not only that but the water that runs from the cold tap into the bath has qualities that no other supply possesses, and so I have to briefly turn the tap on every time I go in there.
His expression here is due to the room being quite dark when he woke up rather than any sinister plans to do away with me, I hope.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Joan As Police Woman - Your Song (2014)
Joan Wasser released her first retrospective collection this year, a 3CD called Joanthology. As well as tracks from all her albums it included a disc of BBC radio sessions and a couple of new tracks recorded specially for it. The liner notes list Your Song as a B-side "previously unreleased on CD". It is a beautiful song that she has been performing live on her UK tour promoting the collection, a solo performance of just her singing and playing piano. It doesn't seem to be on any B-side, though, but it was an extra track on the Japanese CD edition of her album The Classic in 2014.
