The Lozarithm Lens

Thief (Friday 29th November 2019)

This tortoiseshell cat is a newcomer to the area in recent weeks. He's welcome in the garden, but not in the kitchen at night when he helps himself to Smokey's bikkie bowl. Smokey pretends not to notice and leaves it to me to shoo him away. This is the first time I've spotted him in daylight, and I took this through the porch window.
It was a cold day and there wasn't a lot for Refna to do for Gardening Friday, but she tackled the carpet of leaves, using an eco-friendly and silent rake, not a leafblower, and collected them to make mulch for composting, while I unclogged the guttering over the conservatory, and after her shift she stayed for tea and chat.
