A Christmas Welcome

Dear Diary,

We did get a bit of snow, about 2 inches around here, and I was quite happy with that.  Now plowing required but Matt is coming by to clean things up a bit.  I spent the day yesterday enjoying the snow from the window and making more felted birds.  This time a Chickadee and a Tufted Titmouse, two of my favorite winter visitors to the feeder although I must say they aren't coming in huge numbers yet.  And, amazingly, no Gaylord, Squirrel Nutkin or Rudy!  I can't imagine where they are.  I miss their furry faces and Louisa May would love to see them at the backdoor.  I hope they come back soon.
