Misha on the steppes

A wet morning, so I carried on with plans for the renovation of the garden at McCaig's Tower. After lunch I popped up there again to do some more measuring up and found Misha, Parsley's house-mate, sheltering under a shrub at the bottom of the steps. She's such a lovely cat - when you pick her up she snuggles into your neck - more than our own cats do!

This is the approach to McCaig's Tower, planted some time ago with a selection of whatever happened to be at hand, I should think. I'm suggesting that most of this comes out and we begin again with a better choice of shrubs which are given a great deal more room. Question: Who would do this to a conifer! Answer: The council.
