"See amid the winter's snow"

Singing this morning, then a day of domestic stuff, catching up on time lost over the last couple of days. Relieved to discover that funds were eventually transferred today, so it's all systems go for the weekend.

There's a Wooler Winter Wanderland again this year - every evening in the run-up to Christmas a new window is lit, each portraying a different Christmas carol. This one, depicting "See amid the winter's snow", is clearly a scene for our Age of Austerity. The poor child must be freezing - they haven't even run to swaddling clothes, let alone a nice cosy blanket...
