Waiting patiently

Well, it didnt rain much .It was milder so Fletch was happy to be in the garden, and back in every so often to check he wasnt missing anything.  In the past he'd scratch on the kitchen door and we'd let him in.. but we've a new oak door and would like to keep it looking nice. So, we put a fire guard in front of the door and he scratches that instead! Our previous dog would just bark but Fletch just sits there patiently waiting .

Park walk and then briefly into town to take some of M's leather jackets to the Hospice shop. A side effect of him losing weight is that his jackets really are too big. A shame as they were hardly worn and a good quality.
I hope they sell them at a decent price as it is for a good cause  but the woman's comment of "Thanks, just chuck them here on the floor" doesnt bode well .

We haven't been to the top end of Dalton Road recently and it is quite depressing. Closed shops and generally rather scruffy. It will only get worse when Marks and Spencers close in a couple of months.

Next down to Asda as they have 25% off wine.. so got a dozen bottles, ostensibly for Christmas but... hmm maybe not last that long!

Already dark at 4pm..sigh.. perhaps I'll write out those Christmas cards I bought weeks and weeks ago.. hmm where did I put them??

Thank you for the stars everyone.
