Crescent

I stayed late at work today as I was doing a phone interview in the evening, so I went to the gym beforehand. On the way back the crescent moon hovered over the university - a friend on facebook referred to it as 'New moon in the arms of the Old moon' which I thought was a lovely description: although clearly a crescent moon, you could see the whole outline of the rest of the moon. As usual my phone camera didn't do it justice at all!
