Angry

Last night 20+ teens invaded our house.
They were loud & brash.
The conversations I overheard made my toes curl.
My kitchen floor is sticky.

But...

They were cheerful & kind, with a great sense of fun.
They looked amazing.
The music was great. They sang their hearts out to The Proclaimers. Better still, they asked for requests.

They were polite.
They tidied up. A bit.
They filled 2 boxes with foodbank donations.

Which begs the question; why do we live in a society where teenagers bring donations for a foodbank to a party? I am very proud that they embraced the idea so enthusiastically, but it is a disgrace that this has to be.

Make any excuse that makes you feel better but the ugly truth is that Tory policies and modern greed have allowed this to happen.

Equally, to all those who slept outdoors last night to raise awareness for those who do it every night.

If anyone has seen Boris Johnson's "cornflake" theory, it's inevitable because the poor are obviously thick, and can't spell Pinocchio!

Good for you if things are hunky dory. It can change in an instant. Unless you belong to the protected elite.

Be the change!
