Good Vibrations goes on Air

I am involved in co-organising a Charity night in Sheffield. We have 3 great bands, I am djing along with 2 other dj's and we have intra-league roller derby from Sheffield steel Rollergirls. It really is going to be a great night (Sat 26th Jan at Skate Central , Queens road Sheffield if your interested) Most of the organisation of the night is being done by the amazingly organised "Pip" Tonight we were on Red Road Radio talking about the event. I found it great also as I got to pick 5 tracks to play and talk about them- I picked out I'm blue (sweet inspirations) for Charlie, Summertime (Sam cooke), Shot down (carmen ghia and the hotrods - one of the bands playing on the night), Sinner not a saint (Trinny Lopez) and Walk Ginny walk (Lenny Johnson).

Pip was amazing talking about the story of her dad who died 2 years ago from Myeloma and is the reason she is trying to raise money. All the proceeds from Good Vibrations will go to Macmillan & Myeloma.

There is still so much to do but its going to be a great night for a fantastic cause. Nice one Pippa - So proud of you!
