Taking a break...

...from sawing off the bottom of my Christmas tree!

A stormy night was followed by a stormy day of gales and torrential downpours. But I managed to get out this morning to choose and buy my Christmas tree, have it delivered, and saw off the bottom, just before the skies opened. The tree is now sitting in a bucket in the garden, to be brought indoors another day. Let’s hope Storm Atiyah doesn’t blow it away tonight in the forecast severe gales!

This afternoon has disappeared in finishing those Christmas cards, and wrapping a few pressies. Oh, and I managed to squeeze in a couple of cheesy Christmas films as well! And now it’s time to light the second candle on the Advent Wreath...
