Here and Now

Berry Surprised

A small flock of waxwings visited the 'Red Sprite' winterberries in the front of the front yard (as opposed to the side of the front yard).  What a show they put on for us, flitting and diving and devouring.  They have never come calling in December before.  They were followed by robbins and sparrows who made way whenever the waxwings returned.  I love these birds.

While Mr Mole finished his last task in the yard for the year, I made my annual swag of evergreens and winterberries for the entrance.  I'll save that for an EB.

Thank you for visiting and for the kind comments left yesterday.  It's such a pleasure to be able to share some of the nearby beauty with you.

Wishing you all a wonderful start to the new week ahead.
