The magic of Snow

Last night it was snowing hard so it was no surprise to wake up this morning and find our world had turned white. (See extra)
When the snow started to fall the temperature was above freezing so the wet snow stuck to all the trees and branches. Then the temperature steadily went down to around minus 4° C so the snow froze into place, making the world especially beautiful today. This blip was taken looking through a screen of small trees, towards our neighbour's garden and the lamp.
Does it make anyone else think of Narnia?
The picture was taken just before 3 o'clock, as it was starting to get dark.
I called this blip "The magic of Snow", and it IS magic. I love it every time the snow falls. However, there is another side to new snow. The snow didn't just freeze onto the branches of the trees. It also froze onto our car and it took 30 minutes to brush and scrape the car clean. When I got home later I started digging down to our cellar, and then carried on digging all the paths we need to various places and wood piles. That took two and a half hours and by the time I was finished I was working in bright moonlight; the white gym!
Snow is both the beauty and the beast!
