January Thaw is ON!

Ever so quickly the last meter of snow melted today... now its puddles the size of small lakes and, of course, freezing mud before the next snow at the end of this week.
These succulent 'hens & chicks' were alive and green under the snow all this time. And will be again in a few months when the snows go away.
