Pregnant Parmigiana

Tonight's dinner was at Scalini's Italian Restaurant outside Atlanta. They're renowned for their Egg Plant Parmigiana which is guaranteed to induce birth in overdue pregnant women. A strange thing to boast (I'm not sure it sounds like a good thing) but several of my dinner companions swear it induced the birth of their children. In fact their kids' photos are up on the "2nd generation" wall of 100s of baby photos. Scalini's commitment is to offer free meals to any kid assisted by this miracle treatment for the first few years. A neat way I guess to keep families returning and to associate the restaurant with important moments in the family's life.

Of course I had the dish, and await any medical miracles tomorrow morning
