Fast and Furious

Water levels are high in Pitlichry where, according to T, it's been raining pretty much continuously since he got back up on Sunday. 

I arrived by train just before lunch and after lunch (venison pies from local butcher), I headed over to the theatre for a meeting of University of Third Age Book Group.

Everyone was friendly and we chatted about book and other happenings in and around town; however I did have a slight feeling of guilt that I was cheating on my Edinburgh based book group :-).

Our meeting was cut short by a power cut which affected parts of the town as well (but thankfully not our street).
