Illuminated

This was all we saw of light today on our trip out and, even then, it was artificial - I liked how the figure's head was illuminated from within.

The remainder of the day has been making up beds for guests, cleaning bathrooms and sorting out a big shopping list for tomorrow's trawl round a supermarket, one of my least favourite jobs. And (because I've a deadline) some sewing odds and sods that I've procrastinated about because they're uninteresting ie darning and the like. I'm feeling better now that I can safely file them away but the 'to do' basket looks strangely empty now.
