Living in interesting times

Here's our national colours and a swathe of grey through the middle, courtesy of an MP spouting on the TV. Kind of sums up the day politically, I feel. What a shambles.

Escaped to hire a carpet cleaner (desperate measures) and then got another magic binding on a quilt. Hand stitching now necessary.
