Puzzled Elf

Before I took the decorations down last Christmas, I took several photos of different corners and created a collage. This year I turned that into a Ravensburger 500-piece jigsaw via the Photobox site. Did it for the first time over the weekend and left it up for a while, as is my wont. Eric the elf appeared - all ready to enjoy another Christmas - and was chuffed to bits to find himselfie in the picture, though puzzled as to how he got there.

As the weather is still horrible, I'm about to start a new 1000-piece puzzle, but a bought one this time. It's a Ravensburger one, too, and should neatly lead my up to Christmas and get me in the festive mood.
