The early Wren catches the caterpillar

While working in the kitchen at breakfast time, I witnessed a struggle between the Wren and a caterpillar which was about half its length. Luckily it went on for quite some time in the same position, so I was able to fetch the camera for a couple of shots, albeit from inside. The bird kept stopping for a breather so I was able to manage an extra too.
