Wednesday: Stored Bramley Apples

Weather a lot brighter today, no wind and very mild.
Used some of the Bramley apples to make 7 pots of mincemeat, just apples, mixed dried fruit, brown sugar and some mixed spice & nutmeg - no fat!
Also had first go at making apple scrap vinegar https://twitter.com/_AuthenticHouse/status/1201931754845675520 - it’s supposed to take 14 days, will keep you posted ...
A couple of apples had brown spots through them, they were chopped and left for the birds - blackbirds soon came to eat them!
MrD went shopping and swimming in Llangefni this morning.
Yesterday MrD saw a little mouse in one of the land drainage pipes, I saw it this morning and it’s very cute ... maybe a future blip.
Finished making my huge Christmas cake which I’ll cut into smaller cakes, the house smells of mixed spice and nutmeg, yum!
It’s been non-stop and I’m ready for bed ...
