Tattered Racoon

I got up well before sunrise to get to Circle B Bar Reserve to catch it.  It was very foggy so some shots were difficult to get but I was still so happy to be there and spend a few hours.  I plan to go back again in the morning.

As I was walking along one of the trails, this critter popped out and seemed as surprised as I was.  Poor thing!  He is missing part of his tail and part of both his ears.  I wonder if he has been too close to some of the alligators.  

I have loaded an extra of an Anhinga I came across who was drying his wings.  He was very close so wasn't lost in the fog and I liked the background the fog created.
