A Fairly Early Start.........

................to pick up one of my "ladies" who has to visit the Hospital. In my village, as you can see, there was still ice on the roads, walking was very treacherous and a few flakes of snow were falling. By the time we reached our destination, the sun had come up and the the ice on the roads was gone, which was a relief. It is now a lovely day - one more tiny, very short-lived shower of snow at about 10.30 am and temp now 33 deg. but there are clouds building up I notice.

We are lucky today, as in Norfolk - which is not too far away - they have real problems with ice and snow. Up in the Lincolnshire wolds there have been many road accidents and temperatures down to -6 deg are forecast for tonight

Drive safely if you have to drive and keep warm all of you.

Postscript - Just had notification that yesterday's Blip - "Down the Back Lane" - got on to the Spotlight Page - so very many thanks to everyone who put it there. Am so pleased :-))
