Trimmings

We voted first thing but I'm not optimistic about the outcome, then listened to the first round of Champions Pop Master before heading out to buy the Christmas Tree.  Both Tansy and Jane were working at the Garden Centre today so we had a short catch up with them before leaving to have lunch at Spoons, our treat.

This afternoon I've put up the trimmings and made some mince pies. 

Tony is staying up to see how the results pan out but the exit polls are looking even worse than we thought so I'm taking my hot chocolate and Inspector Gamache to bed.  The future looks bleak......
